Can this barrel be used to hold liquid? I'm going to ferment soy sauce in it and it there a lid available? How many gallons can this hold?

Hello, this barrel will not hold liquids on its own, it is designed to be used as a display piece or to hold dry goods. A liner would be needed, which is item 200622. A lid is item 200623. We currently do not have information on how many gallons this barrel will hold, but it does have a 14" diameter and an 18" height. Since you would like to try to use this barrel for something other than its intended purposes, we would recommend contacting the Bradbury Barrel manufacturer directly at 1-800-332-6021 to see what they would recommend for fermenting soy sauce.
