QUESTION
I see on the specs that at far as HAZ MATERIAL THE ANSWER IS NO. Our fraternal membership non profit is definitely concerned about health issues. Does this polycarbonate type material have any BPA'a Biphenal poisons that might be transferred from the polycarbonate material to the end user. I am looking really for a 10 ounce glass condiment jar with lid and spoon. The polycarb spoon would have the same question about BPA's. With glass that is not an issue as we know. I would appreciate you elaborating on this Bi Phenal issue. Ken Beck Fort Bragg Gange No. 672,
ANSWER
BPA can be found in products manufactured by Cambro with polycarbonate and traces in High Heat material (HP). BPA is not found in polypropylene or polyethylene storage containers, ABS products, or
in most Cambro tumblers which are made from the SAN resin. You should look for jars made using polypropylene, polyethylene, ABS, SAN or glass. Hope this is helpful!
