QUESTION
Can you tell me how big the opening on the hasp is? Can I put a padlock on it? The boxes will be used to collect donations at our town July 4th picnic and will not be out of sight of anyone at any time.

ANSWER
The opening will only work with a small lock. A padlock would be too big for this ballot box.
