Can I use this for chocolate, caramel and hard tack candy temperature readings? I am looking for something that is very reliable and durable.

Hello, according to the manufacturer the temperature limit on this unit is 500 degrees F, so as long as the chocolate/caramel/candy, etc. temperature does not exceed this, it will work for your purposes. Thank you!
