QUESTION
Product DFP450W: Is there a way to 'reset' the mode button? It seems the mode button is defective as the other buttons work fine.
'HOLD', 'MAX' and 'MIN' aren't appearing when the button is pushed. Is it possible to see those modes before actually taking a temperature? Could this be why the 'mode' button doesn't seem to engage on a consistent basis??

I am getting different reads when i calibrate these thermometers. I put 3 thermometers in the same glass of ice water and they read (33.8, 32.0, 34.1). My question is, is there a reset button that I am just not seeing. Thank you so much for helping me with this!

Why does it go to hold, and how do I get it to not do that...the only way I can chsnge that hold mode is by shutting it off.

I work for a non profit that provides residential supports for people with disabilities. Per the health inspector--I am looking for a thermometer that will test the water temperatures of our dishwashers (they are not commercial grade--just regular dishwashers like you or I have in our homes). My question is--how would I do this? Do you put the device before you start your dishwasher and start it, or do you need to stop the dishwasher during its cycle and test the water? I want to make it easy for staff to use, so that it does get used. Thank you
