I recently purchased a lens replacement for the 300XK (old style) KopyKake projector. I cannot seem to get the lens into the machine. It is the same size as my old lens. Am I doing this wrong and which way does the lens go in? Up or down?

Hello, we have asked the manufacturer about this, and they said that if the lens won't stay in the tube, it's possible the collar may be broken or missing. The lens for the 300XK has always been the same. When inserting the lens, the glass end should be up. Hello I have a kopykake k1000 and the black ring that holds the lens on is broken. Does this lens assembly kit include the black ring and clip?

Hello, the black ring is not included with the lens assembly. However, the manufacturer does make a replacement lens collar - it is model PC003, Wasserstrom item #954316. Thank you!

QUESTION
Hello there, i recently bought a used kopykake k1000 projector but it does not have the lens, only a black ring and it does not project a thing, di you think if i buy the lens this will solve the problem?
It does have the two bulbs working, but is with regular bulbs too
