QUESTION
I own a Taylor 6072 thermometer. It was my mother's before she passed away.
What is this thermometer used for?
ANSWER
Hi. This instant read thermometer can be used to read temperatures of a variety of items, but mainly food items. You can stick it in a roast to check the temperature or in a cup of water. Nearly anything. Thanks!

Hi. Sorry, we are unable to measure the small dial arms of every thermometer we have, but the rest of your specs seem to match this thermometer. Thanks!

QUESTION
How many minutes/seconds should the thermometer be in the liquid to measure an acurate temperature?
ANSWER
Hi. 10-20 seconds would be good. If by then the dial remains still, it's accurate.
