QUESTION
It came with a slightly bent bracket, two screws and no instructions how to install. It is not obvious to me how to install it. No instructions or pictures.
ANSWER
Hello, here are the mounting instructions:
*The thermometer may be mounted to the left or right of an outside window frame. There are two pins located on the back of the thermometer. Choose the pin that will correctly orient the thermometer in the desired mounting location*
1) Place the large hole bracket over the desired pin
2) Snap the bracket into the locking tabs to the side of the pin
3) Mount the brack to the window frame with two #6 wood screws
*The thermometer may also be mounted on a flat surface without a bracket by using the hanger located on the back*
For an illustration of how this looks, there is one available in the Manual under the Literature tab on this product page. Thank you!

QUESTION
Is the Taylor big wall thermometer # 5630 for outside mount ( outside of the window)?
ANSWER
Hi. Yes, this weather-resistant thermometer can be mounted outside of a window frame (to the left or right), but must be out of direct sunlight. We will have some instructions uploaded by tomorrow, and will be found in the "Literature" tab of this product page. Thanks!

QUESTION
My new thermometer seems "stuck" at 80 degrees. Is there a way to "unstick" it?
Thank you
Bob (98 years young) and Tom
ANSWER
Hi. That's strange. Maybe the dial needs to be oiled or there is some debris in the thermometer? Besides ordering a new one, you can try opening it up to see what's the matter or take it to a local hardware store to see what they can do. If you'd rather get a replacement, we can try to see if Taylor would be able to help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
